What does a Notion Consultant do, exactly?

This question comes up more times than I can count, so I figured I’d break down what we do and hopefully bring clarity around Notion consulting services. 🙂
When Did Notion Consulting Become a Thing?
Back in 2019-ish, Notion rolled out their Certified Notion Consultant program as a way for companies to hire trusted experts with confidence.
For some teams, the need was migrating to Notion, for others, optimizing their workspace. And a lot in between.
With the number of monthly active users estimated beteween 30 and 35 million, usage of Notion has ballooned far beyond its core startup audience.
Companies and organizations in finance, law, medicine, education, and design are now adopting the all-in-one workspace solution, taking advantage of its customization and the ability to build no-code solutions solely in Notion.

The Certified Notion Consultant Directory has grown gradually, and now encompasses ~100 consultants globally.

Consultants offer a variety of services, including workflow audits, workspace optimization, automations, training, and support.
